My Best Girlfriend >> & a Funky Legs Giveaway!!!

Recently I got a chance to get out with my girl, just her and I.  It's a rare treat, because brother still nurses around the clock and is pretty much attached at the hip.  But really there is nothing like a little girlfriend time with my own little girl.  I love when I can sneak away with her and leave the boys at home to do their own thing.  On this particular day we grabbed a scoop of ice cream (our favorite treat) and had a nice little chat about life.  One thing that I love about our little dates is that for the few minutes that I get alone with her, I can really listen.  

You know, listen...with no distractions.  

I love the sweet tone in her voice and the way she giggles after she says something.  Her eyes get huge when she talks about something she is really excited about.

I asked her what some of her favorite things to do are right now and as her eyes grew big, she excitedly said, "Eat ice cream with mama, swing really high and play with Mari, Myka, Faith and Pop-Pop."  Then she added, "And hop really high like a kangaroo."

I love her randomness, her quirkiness and above all - her joy.  Oh, her infectious joy.

She is so radiant.  So bright.  So beautiful.  So wild.  So crazy.  So amazing.  So hilarious.  So sweet.  So tender.  So incredible.

When I got home that evening after our date, I told Josh that I need to do that more often.  She lifts me up unlike anyone can.  She has a way of putting me in the happiest mood.  I feel so incredibly blessed to call her my own.  To call her my girl.  My girlfriend.  My best friend.

Bobo Choses >> Top 10 SS14 Picks

We have been seeing lots of people share their Bobo Choses Spring and Summer choices from the latest released collection on Instagram and it inspired us to share ours!  I was OBSESSED with this Bobo Choses SS14 "Manifesto" collection.  I seriously wish I could get one of everything!  So here are my favorites and the pieces my little's will be rocking this Summer!  :)

I happened upon this brand on Pinterest and I'm quite happy I did.  I am obsessing over the skirt for Everly and the romper pants for Silas.  I love brands that have items where I can "match" or "coordinate" outfits with the two of them.  I just can't get enough of knits for my babies this season.  There is just something amazing about putting something thick, warm, handmade and just out right precious on your little ones.  Lu Flux only has a few items in their new shop, but it's just the perfect amount to get your mouth watering and leave your wallet a little bit more empty.  How do you look and not just, have to have it?!  I mean come on, mismatched toggled knits...Need I say more?

Lu Flux also has a women's section, with totally unique pieces, it's worth a look.

Each of our favorite picks included something from the brand Macarons.  It's no surprise why Shih-Fen would have chosen such a brand to be a part of her wonderful shop.  We chose to feature Macarons as a highlighted brand from Carousel NY, because this brand is amazing for so many reasons.  Macarons develop and produce their own unique fabrics in Germany according to the GOTS standard using fair-trade production methods.  Organic merino wool, organic cotton and just pure goodness inside and out.  What's not to love about a brand that you feel so good about putting on your baby?  Another note: You need to just feel the thickness and the quality of this fabric yourself!  It's perfect for Fall and Winter weather, but also will wear great wash after wash.

We get weak in the knees over harems on our little ones, so, of course we are crushing on The Mini Classy.  We are obsessing over the vivacious prints and mixed patterns.  One thing that really sets these harems a part, is their hip trend-setting of miss-matching the main pant print from the waistband and leg cuff print.  Everything about these pants scream playful and free!

Here are a few of our favorite prints from their current selection.  Each design is limited from The Mini Classy, so if you like what you see, grab it!  We really love that about this brand for two reasons.  1.) Oh, Everly June.  The day you were born, the world became more beautiful.  From the very first moment I laid eyes on your tiny little body, my heart grew to a capacity I never knew existed.  You were all I dreamed of and more - nothing less then perfect.  What my heart couldn't comprehend, what I just could not wrap my mind around was that you were mine!  You are mine!  Amazing...

Today you turn 2!  I have no clue how these two years flew by the way they did, but nevertheless, I love watching you grow and become your own.  I've never met a more beautiful, loving, captivating, caring, generous, full of life, little girl!  You truly blow my mind every day.

I love you so much, baby girl, more then you will ever know.  You make my mama heart so proud, it bursts at the seams.
