three || humble hilo sandals
four || children of the tribe pineapple onesie
five || lieschen mueller rabbit bonnet

The transition from Winter into Spring is the most refreshing season swap ever!  Our Winter's in PA are LONG and by the time we hit March, I'm so ready for the first day of Spring.  I anticipate that official date on the calendar for so many reasons, but mainly because I know gorgeous weather is just lurking around the corner.  Today I chose a few Spring inspired items for the sweet little babies in your life, just to make you anticipate it with me all the more!  Okay, but seriously...  Is there anything in the world cuter then sweet baby toes peeking out of sandals?  Or chubby baby thighs just hanging out in a little onesie?  I didn't think so...

Come on March 20th!!!

Top 6 >> Baby Girl Blankets

It is FREEZING here in the Southeast, and all I have been thinking about is staying warm and cozy. We haven't been able to get out much, but when we do, a warm stroller blanket is a MUST for strolling around the city! I also have a little girl who loves to kick blankets off in the night, so a good blanket that you can lay over top of them is definitely a necessity.
I have a thing for a "good" blanket and quilts for myself. I am always on the hunt for something new and one that is up to par with my standards of a good blanket.
So with that being said, what better to do than post about amazing baby girl blankets that I have found and love. These are some of our favorites, and then a few of them are on our wish-list.

one - this is an UIMI blanket, and they are the best! They have them in tons of different designs and come out with something new and a fresh design each season. they are worth the splurge and they last forever. it is made from merino wool, so it really keeps you warm when you need it most.

two - this is a great basic blanket from Numero 74. Numero 74 blankets are a cotton blend, and perfect as a top layer of blanket for the littles that like to kick off their blankets at night!

three - what isn't amazing from Ferm Living? i mean, seriously!?! i love everything they create and their blankets are no different. this one is 100% cotton and is extra soft on the skin.

four - this LemLem blanket is one of our favorites. it has 4 layers of handwoven cotton, so it is extra cozy. it might not be the warmest, but it is the cutest...

five - bri and i both have this blanket on our wishlist. it is made by Niki Jones from the UK and is a linen. i can only imagine the sweet snuggles i would have under this one.

six - this is another Numero 74 blanket and is also 100% cotton. i am dying for this color! plus the thought of Scarlett's little piggies hanging out from the bottom...yeah i'm sold!

Has this post made you want to grab your littles and go for a snuggle on the couch? Me too...  ;)

Do you or your babes have a favorite blanket that you can't live without? PLEASE share! We would love to know of some more great blankets, because it's only getting colder...brrrrr...

Top 6 >> Winter Baby Booties

It's important to keep those little toes warm - especially when it's negative degrees out, like it has been here this weekend!  It's inevitable that we will be out and about in the cold, since I can't stand being cooped up for too long.  Winter's are a lot more fun when you are bundled up and warm and I try to always make sure both Silas and Everly are exactly that.  We don't leave the house without hats, gloves, scarves and something to keep our piggies warm.  I did a little round-up of my go-to booties for Silas, because I know it's hard to find that "perfect winter bootie" for babies under the age of 1.  They aren't walking yet, so soft soles are preferred, but you need to find something that STAYS ON their feet!  Which is funny, because Silas just hit the stage of pulling off his socks and his feet are always in his hands and mouth!  So this list is Silas-proofed... ;)

one - This was my first baby shoe purchase for Silas.  Minnetonka's are a staple in both my kids closets and they go with everything!  I love how versatile they are!

two - We LOVE our Padraig Cottage slippers!  These slippers are a must-have if you get really cold winters.  Or if you just want to have the cutest baby slippers ever!

three - Everly has a pair of Ugg boots, so I had to get a pair for Silas since I'm always trying to coordinate their outfits and I am happy I did.  These one's stay on his feet good and I love how they look with his skinny jeans.

four - These Zutano bootie slippers are amazing.  I love how easy they are to slip on Silas' feet and they have an elastic band around the heel to make sure they don't come off.  Again, another must-have!

five - These Ralph Lauren booties are so cute!  I love the chunky look and how incredibly plush they are.

six - I actually don't have these EMU boots for Silas...YET!  But they are on my "wish list".  Everly had a pair of EMU boots last season and I loved them.  I love their "little creatures" line, they are super cute and fun for the little feet.  You can view most of them here and here!
